GCSE Results Day - Thursday 25th August 2022

This year’s GCSE Results day is on Thursday 25th August. We will be inviting students onto site to collect their results from 9:00am until 10:30am. For those students who can not attend site, we have put in place arrangements which are detailed below.

If students are unable to attend site in person but would like a family member to collect their results on their behalf, please email Tracy Sneddon at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , so we can make suitable arrangements. Please note that if someone is collecting the results on behalf on the student they must have a letter from the student giving permission or to have had it agreed with Mrs Sneddon prior to results day. Results will not be released without this.

School site will be open from 9:00am until 10:30am. Results will also be made available on MyChildAtSchool for parents and Student Portal for students from midday onwards.

Please note that the information being collected is a printed list of results and not your qualification certificates – these will not be available until the Autumn and we will confirm the process for collecting these nearer to the time.

Results day procedure

Please enter the school site via the main lower entrance gate. Builders and other contractors will be using the top gate so please avoid this area. You’re only able to access the courtyard and Sports Hall as all other indoor spaces may have contractors working.

Please go down into the new block where results will be available to collect from the following rooms:

  • 11SCR/11SAN W01
  • 11PRR/11WTS W02
  • 11JRR W03
  • HAV/IMP W04
  • Ideas4Careers W05

To support any students who might need careers/post-16 advice on the day, we will have staff on hand to support including the careers organisation Ideas4Careers. This includes any questions on the enrolment process and what to do if you do not have the grades for your post16 place.

For those that are willing, we will be asking some of you to provide us with your reactions to your results, which staff you would like to thank and what top tips you have for the new Year 11 2022/23.

When you are ready to leave the site, please exit back through the lower gate. On departure, you will be asked to provide details of your first-choice destination for post-16.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 25th August.
