All parents and carers are welcome to attend the Parents’ Forum, which has been running for over ten years. We meet with senior staff to discuss any concerns we have, any good practice we want to encourage and any developments the school is planning. The forum is chaired by a parent and meets once a term on a weekday evening in the meeting room at Alderman White School.
Please see the School Calendar for the date of our next meeting.
Our views as parents/carers have been welcomed by the school and we have been able to contribute positively to the way Alderman White is run. We hope you can join us in helping the school create the best possible environment for your child.
The minutes of our recent meetings are attached below.
Alderman White School PTA is a small, friendly, welcoming group of parents and is always looking for new members to help organise events, support the school, and raise vital funds to enchance the school experience for our children by providing equipment, resources, and anything else as required.
Amongst other things, the PTA organise the annual Christmas Fayre and Summer Fayre, provide refreshments at sports days and productions, and have recently presented a Fashion Show and Clothes Sale (with Risley Fashion House), put on a Christmas Community Tea for local elderly people, and set up a Pre-Loved Uniform shop to allow parents to donate and buy second hand uniform.
Minutes of our recent meetings can be found below, and the details of our next PTA meeting are available in the school calendar.
